Dad is Back

So my Dad finally came back from Asia. Hopefully that trip helped. I went from Fremont back to SJ to change the car and pick up my Grandma to go have Dim Sum with her and my Aunt and cousin's family in SF. Stayed there for dinner and picked up my Dad in the evening. On 4/4, most people were supposed to "clean the grave" but I heard that you are not supposed to do that for the first year (nor are you supposed to celebrate). But I do plan to visit my Mom with flowers this Sunday since it's hers and my birthday. Funny how I never thought about buying flowers for her for Birthdays when she was still here. I didn't think it practical as I rather buy her a nice meal out or cake or digital photo frame which she barely got to use (actually that was for Christmas in 2007). But I shouldn't dwell on what I should have done because eventually, those things will consume me.
